PAR ASB UPDATE |
||
The Neighbourhood Team have identified 4 young people from the local area who were persistently engaging in ASB on the grounds of Par Holiday Park. They have now been issued banning letters on behalf of the holiday park to prevent them from entering and loitering on the grounds. Working with Cornwall Council's ASB Team we have escalated one young person on the Council's ASB process to allow increased monitoring and intervention for their previous behaviour. One young person was identified from CCTV following an incident of criminal damage reported at Park Track Cafe in early July. They have been interviewed and admitted to causing the damage. We are working with the cafe to identify a suitable community resolution. The team are continuing foot patrols in Par with additional summer policing funding supporting increased patrols on weekend evenings. In July there were a total of 8 reports to police of ASB involving young people in Par and St Blazey. Whilst we appreciated ASB cannot be eliminated entirely, the low figures do represent the team's continued efforts to reduce ASB in the area. We are aware that there are incidents of ASB being reported on community pages on social media which we do not monitor. We would encourage any incidents of ASB to be reported to the police either by calling 101 or online through the below link;
